Safe Needle Disposal Program
SAFE NEEDLE DISPOSAL

Concord is in the process of developing a safe needle disposal program. Until the program is developed residents are instructed to dispose of needles using a mail-back program.

Please check back to this page frequently so you will know when the new safe needle disposal program is in place.  Please do not dispose of used medical needles in the trash.

Mail Back Sharps Disposal Programs

There are a variety of mail back sharps disposal programs available. These programs generally charge a single up-front fee which covers the cost of the container as well as return postage and disposal of the container.

The CVS Phamracy at 199 Sudbury Road (978-371-0688) sells SHARPS containers with pre-paid mailing labels.  Rite-Aid, located at 71 Lowell Road (978-369-5802) also sells SHARPS continers with pre-paid mailing labels.

SHARPS Compliance Inc has a SHARPS mail-back program.  You can call them at 800-772-5657 or click here to visit their website.
